Yawn. Kind of a slow night. Let's get right to it.
8. Arizona. Got a little scare from Oregon State, who actually outscored the Wildcats in the second half. Anything can happen in college basketball, but no one should be concerned about Oregon State this season. They are simply not a factor.
15. Nevada. We did say last night that we love the underdog, and San Jose State (1-13 coming into this game) were just that, but they fought hard at home and only lost by 9. We are hoping they win a couple of more games--they have the experience to do so.
17. Oregon. Squeaked by mediocre Arizona State. Not a good sign for a team that faces #8 Arizona next and has a schedule full of top-25 teams lined up for the remainder of the season.
19. Memphis. This is one of our favorite teams. They like to run and can hit the threes. No worries about only beating Houston by 10. Our only concern about this team is being challenged in the rest of the regular season. They will most likely win the C-USA and get a bid to the Tourney, but they will have to step it up to get past the first round.
23. Washington State. A newcomer to the top-25 (ranked for the first time in 24 years), the Cougars won easily at California, who is a pretty decent team.
24. Washington. Loss to Stanford will hurt them. Big game against Washington State on Saturday. They are on the edge of dropping out of the rankings.
No top-25 games scheduled for tomorrow, so we are outta here.
